So anyway this is just a simple draft of what I will be preaching for the preaching challenge. Even though it may not be dramatic or shocking but I know this is what God wants me to share:D


So anyway:

The title- love of an amazing father- daddy God!

There are many misunderstanding about God.

Many people view God as a father(yes)but because of their previous encounter with their own father or perception or even because due to the lack of interference for so many different reason such as the lack of a fatherly figure or the reminder of the absence of a father, they form a perception of daddy God.

Common ones include abstinent, aloof, demanding , authoritative, incapable of love, result oriented, never present when you need. BUT OUR GOD is ABBA FATHER, He is a DADDY GOD. More than just being a father, He is A GOOD FATHER.

And like any good father, these are 3 simple characteristics that daddy God express:


1) AFFECTIONATE: Our God is more than just any father that we know or see, He is not like most father-aloof, distant, shy, awkward, reserved,passive, emotionally shutdown, giving Voldemort's hug once in a while. HE IS A GOD WHO IS EXPRESSIVE OF HIS LOVE!

He is jealous for you !
You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God” (exodus 20:4-5)

He gives HUGS AND KISSES
But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him. Luke 15:20

He is ever thinking about you
