There is only one way to go right now: forward.

Funny to say, difficult do, one thing whatsoever to prove.

Alot of thing I dread is the unfamilarity of moving forward because of the familarity (to the extent , comfort) of being stuck. But we can't stay forever rooted in the past(or winter). When spring comes, work is EXPECTED. The problem with work is the concept of FAILURE that is ever so real in the society that we have to face.


But I trust in the word of my Daddy God. The amazing word He spoke to Joshua after Moses died . VERY VERY LONG BUT VERY VERY GOOD.

Kinda LOVEEEEEEEEEEEE it when the ALM worship team prophesy or confess it (saying that it is for the asian people) and it is an amazing passage.


"Moses my servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan , you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them- the children of Israel. Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses. Fom the wilderness and this Lebanon as far as the great river, the River Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites and to the Great Sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your territory. No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses , so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.


Only be strong and very courageous, that you may obeserve to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded youl do not tun from it to the right hand or the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous and make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid; nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."(Joshua 1:2-9)


VERY VERY LONG yes, but very very good. More than just moving forward (like God's word say), they had to DO the word(SPYING*cool* ,crossing the Jordan, walking around Jericho, etc). Not exactly a walk in the park if you think about it, a lot of FAITH in this invisible yet absolute God who loves His people and who led the enermies into their arms.

The passage could be divided into 3 parts(Sort of):
1) God's promise for them
2) God's instruction
3) God's assurance

The conclusion of the passage is summarise in Joshua 1:9 whereby God says for them to be STRONG and of GOOD COURAGE, and DO NOT BE AFRAID NOR BE DISMAYED. And that GOD IS WITH HIM wherever he go.

Amazingly though, there was a actually distinct part where God specifically instructed them to "meditate on the word of the God" . Kinda weird for the bunch of soldiers (seeing they were conquering things and fighting) but nonetheless I love how God say you meditate in it day and night and also not turn to the right hand or the left hand of the word but just to do as it command.

For Joshua it must have been life changing . When God said " As I was with Moses, so I will be with you",the kind of assurance and love by God .


Moving forward with You into the new chapter where You would lead me might not be easy or in some way "always sunshine" but I know You are there.


For I know the thoughts that I think worard you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me and I will listen to you. And you will seek me and find me , when you search for me with all your heart
