if my life was a movie, then is the ending or the intro?

today, I went out with CS and LKT to watch karate kid. IT was a great show, and the jackie is still same old kick ass, Jaden smith was not bad, and the show wasnt a waste. Except for the guy who sat behind, he kept shaking his leg so hard, it felt like I was trying to watch a movie but I was sitting on an OSIM massage chair on to the max, and the screen which was stationary, was shaking in and out. Had the urge to turn behind and just give him a piece of my mind, but then I realise it will be rude, and well, I need to be patient , right? So I tried to find a relaxing and nice position without the vibration. 1 Hour into the movie, I gave up. Just sat there, move around when he shake his leg and then sat back when I could stand it. The movie is a standard classic of underdog becoming a champion in the end. He got his ass kicked at first, and in the end he kicked ass. The beau played hard to get, but he got her in the end. He won, champion , and everyone celebrate with him. Same old same old, but really, if life was a movie, then things would be great. The ending comes fast, the intro and mid-story complex is short, and then the good guys tends to always win(usually), and then there's that good morale of the story(dont give up etc.). But, life's not exactly like that . Maybe in the sense, it looks like a movie, but it's too long, and the Director left too many plot holes in the story that the story takes forever to finish. And then when it seems like it's finishing, a sudden twist of event occurs, and VOLA, the story continues. But like all good and epic movies, it will have it's great ending , with everyone(or just a few people) celebrating with you in the end, and the frog becomes a prince and then he wins, and he gets the girl. Right? Maybe, maybe. And if my life was a movie, then is it the sad ending where the heroes die, or is the intro of a sad underdog who is going through his life problems? Probably the latter one, and I bet the Director of my life story is doing something to turn it all for good=) "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." Romans 8: 28 And quite frankly, I know and I know He already planned that happy ending and morale in the story, but He's storing it for a later timing. Well, I would love to have a spoiler but He's all secretive and stuff. Maybe it's childish and maybe it's wrong But so is your blank stare in lieu of this song Maybe it's childish and maybe it's wrong |
