Finally I am out of the hospital. Phew. 6 days. Not 1 day was that good. (except when they remove all the tube). I had to have drip with sharp needles into me all the time, have injection everyday amounting to more than 15 needles worth. Other than that, I sleep, eat, read books. Nothing else. At the first 4 day it was rather bad. Due to low platelet count, I was on CRIB(completely rest in bed) order. Couldnt go to the toilet to pee#!@$!#$@# Had to pee in their "urinal" which is basically a container. Sigh. After my platelet count went back up , they allow me to move, but with the drip still on me , which was a major hinderance, it was diffficult to go to the toilet but still alright. But the worse was when this new patient came who, obviously and defiantly, knowing that the it is against the law to smoke in hospital grounds, chose to spoke in the toilet. It smelled so bad with smoke I coughed so hard. Doctors and nurse wasnt that bad. SOme of them wasted a lot of them time. Some were nasty, and plain. But mostly fine. Last time , I fear injection a lot, cause obviously it was painful, but after 6 days of injections, it isnt so bad. Not afraid now. DOESNT MEANT I want to be injected though. IT sucks. They draw 1~3 test tube size tube of blood from me everyday. Kinda scary. Although they suspected dengue, it wasnt. Test was negative. Blood culture test shows no bacteria. Might be viral attack or allergic to cause the rash to appear. Now , because 6 days I lie down on hospital bed everyday, my leg has lost it's strength. I have no problem walking, but I cant stand for more than 30 second. My knee area will hurt. Kinda weird in public but no choice. Legs will give way. Now at home =) Must heal!! Thanks to all the visitor who came, although only one day which was kinda disappointing, but you cared. Thank you! Woot. If I am well enough tomorrow, I will go celebrate easter!!! |
